Anyone know if its possible to not auto subscribe into topics (aka have the box default to unchecked?)

I just deleted 135 emails about "someone has posted in topic XYZ"

I believe clicking 'Mark all forums read' will do that, not sure. It's a small button on the page you get to when you click 'Forum' next to 'Home', 'Products', etc.

EDIT: Nevermind, that was another Horrible Stupid Delci Mistake. All that does is mark what you've read. I'm not sure how to stop it from auto-subscribing, or how to unsubscribe.

You can unsubscribe through: My Profile > My Subscribes. I'm not sure how to stop the auto-subscription though.

Edit: Actually, the subscription box was unchecked by default when I posted in this topic.

I just turned off the "auto subscription" as default setting. Must admit I didn't know what was switched on as it can end up annoying for one or the other.

Unfortunately I doubt that this fixes existing subscriptions though, sorry.

Yea, but its really easy to forget one session and then have 100 emails magically appear eating into my inbox with this embarassment that I have to go to page 3 before I get my first non eastasiasoft email...
