With only 11 days until the launch of Final Prototype, time may seem relative, but it'll be here in no time!
That being said, there's a lot to take in, but what can you do before you even get a fighter?
Which ship do you think will suit your fancy?
The Thor Heavy Starfighter or the Mexxus II Bullfighter?
Both craft have taken weapon and role functions from the original Prototype X and concentrated on them in order to be specialized.
From what little can be seen, the Thor has drawn on Prototype X's more area-of-effect weapons with its bounce laser and scatter gun, and the Mexxus II has fused the Prototype X's Beam and Flame hardpoints to use the magma cannon for maximum damage potential.
Most likely, a good deal of you will prefer one over the other.
It would also be interesting if the unlockable ship was actually a 'build your own fighter' system.

Going to be playing 1 score run with each ship and decide which one I want to use to go key hunting for game 3+

I can tell you that's not the case, sorry.
Mexxus II should be the ship that's a little easier to start with. Its hitbox is a little smaller and you catch most of the enemies with the bullet weapon right away. However Thor's bounce laser is not less effective, especially once powered up a bit.

Don't forget the challenges... there's a lot linked to it that you can unlock (including the third ship).

Its the way I played SX1, theres no point going for a score attack if you don't even have world 5 unlocked yet, thats why as soon as I finished the game thru 4 (didn't have 5 yet) I went to a low difficulty and went key hunting so that I could practice world 5 immediately. Its all about the score attack, and its been proven (and I'll prove it again) that playing every world is essential to a high score. Heck I'm probably aiming to unlock Extra Hard first thin.. oh wait I need to unlock hard first, and assuming I need to finish every planet first means I'm probably going to need to unlock and clear all 7 worlds!
