I'm just curious, because I just tried to beat my best Normal score (016.017.115) and almost managed it, but what is the maximum score range for each difficulty?
In other words, rounding off to the million, what is the highest attainable score for each of the difficulties? For example, right now it seems like 19 million for Normal...though I'm sure someone could manage 20.

Yea, normal 20M could be easily done. I did 19.6M in the invincible challenge (beat the game on any difficulty without dying) which is 100k higher than my normal run.

I'm going to make an assumption that 35-40M is possible on hard and 100M is possible on Extra Hard (yes I believe you can go 100M)

Just takes a high level extra hard game transferable into the other difficulties. Problem is why bother pullling a 70M game on Extra Hard and back step to prove 11M Beginner. Its all about the "I can destroy everything and take no damage" run. Missing any enemy on Extra Hard will plummet your multiplier from 96x to 64x and it takes like 20s to recover it back.

Sadly, the score attack puts me to sleep, and I'm already pulling the amount of games I play per day down so low you'd think I'm not even playing SX-2 anymore.

btw i think in normal mode, theoretically thre should be at least 30M possible. Since, when I did the action master challenge (with the fixxed S rank), I already got around 15M shortly after stage 3, so assuming you could stay on S the whole playthourgh, you could get a lot more than 20M on normal mode
