Unwanted game speedbursts 5 Months, 3 Weeks ago

I'm playing on a i3 M350 2,27GHz Intel machine with a NVIDIA Geforce 310M (512MB) as well as integrated graphics. I'm running Windows 7. I have also downloaded the patch.
Now, when I play the game there are seemingly unmotivated speedups in game speed (without the ship having taken any damage, and with no, very little, or many shots fired/enemies killed.
This error makes it almost impossible for me to enjoy the game as I constantly collide with enemy ships (impossible to avoid at these speeds and therefore only rarely make it to stage 2.
To me it seems like a compatability problem.
Switching to integrated graphics does not solve the problem.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
we are very you have problems with the game.
Please make sure to have V-Sync enabled in your video driver. This is the most common reason for problems like this.
I hope this helps.

Hi again - it now works - seems that the NVIDIA graphics card was the source of the problem (it is prette new tech, so hopefully a new driver will fix the bug).
Forcing V-Sync didn't help. But thanks for the quick reply!
Previously I had used the NVIDIA controlpanel to make Söldner X use integrated graphics. Now I disabled NVIDIA for all programs - this seems to have fixed the problem.
Thank you for a beautiful vertical shooter. Hope you will port version 2 to the PC!
