Well Söldner X is probably the best shooter ever.
The music is amazing, especially the track
"Lurking Evil", that appears in the 5th World.
I also have bought the PC special box of SX.
The soundtrack of SX is one of my holy discs...

As i recognized, the nobody other, than Rafael Dyll
is responsable for the music in SX 2 a dream has come
true. I know this guy very well. This guy has done great
remixes from C 64 and Amiga.

The music made from a hero, that has that much experience
with mixing Tracks, from the biggest and greatest oldscoolstuff
ever, could not be fail.

I also ordered the soundtrack from SX 2
If the Score is that good, that i expect it,
SX 2 will be an audio-visuel revelation.....

The music in Soldner-X 2 will indeed be from Rafael Dyll, who was also responsible for the music in the original Soldner-X. Apart from that, almost the whole core team from SX1 is working on SX2.

Speaking about the music, not sure if you have spotted it but a preview medley is online and linked on the soundtrack's product page.

Some tracks sounds familiar, like remixversion of
a track of Söldner X Himmelsstürmer....

Definitely a great find here. Dyll remixed the Himmelssturmer track 'Massive Attack Syndrome' and a couple of others - now if he did a remix of 'Hit and Run', death by awesome may have occured, so that's why we didn't see that. Heh.
I'm glad that everyone involved with Himmelssturmer is working on Final Prototype - this way, you know the sequel won't screw up.
I'm glad they made it a point to release the soundtracks.

Hey EAS or SideQuest, I was curious about something involving the Final Prototype soundtrack. I was looking at the pictures you had up at soldner-x2.blogspot.com/2010/05/soundtrack-cd-out-now.html#more and I noticed a sticky note taped to a keyboard pictured as the jewel case's interior...



Did he really leave a note like that and vanish on you guys? If so, I wonder what he's up to now...I can't find anything new on his soniQfactory website ( www.soniqfactory.de/ ).

However, Rafael is already working with the team again on new tasks. I'm sure there will be an announcement soon, so stay tuned
