We are proud to announce that we will be releasing physical editions of Suzaku Games and Top Hat Studio's side-scrolling dystopian horror Sense - A Cyberpunk Ghost Story for Nintendo Switch and PS Vita.
It is with great excitement that we've been able to help bring this long-anticipated release to fruition following Sense - A Cyberpunk Ghost Story's successful crowdfunding campaign in 2018. Preorders will open with online retail partner Playasia at 11pm Hong Kong (10am ET / 3pm UK). Only 2000 Limited Editions will be available for Nintendo Switch, with standard copies as an open preorder. Only 800 Limited Editions will be available for PS Vita.
Inspired by classic adventure games and the origins of the survival horror genre, Sense – A Cyberpunk Ghost Story celebrates the slow, cerebral creep of dread instead of relying on over-the-top action or jump scares. With careful attention to pacing, atmosphere and storytelling, this futuristic tale seamlessly blends 2.5D exploration and problem solving with suspenseful ghost encounters that act as paranormal glitches in our own reality.
In Neo Hong Kong, 2083, a young woman named Mei Lin Mak is dragged into a maelstrom of supernatural horror. As she peers into the century old mystery, Mei is forced to question her perception of reality and how much she trusts her own cybernetic eyes. Under the neon lights of a cyberpunk cityscape, the ruins of the Chong Sing Apartments hide a bloody secret illuminated by the traditions of Chinese folklore and innovations of the industrial future. If there is any hope of escaping this nightmare, Mei Lin must explore the complex, piecing together stories of 14 lost souls and discovering the truth of her own family curse.
Sense – A Cyberpunk Ghost Story has been developed by Suzaku Games and published by Eastasiasoft Limited in cooperation with Top Hat Studios. The game is now available digitally for Nintendo Switch at US$19.99/€19.99 on the US/EU eShop.
Alongside the physical release of Sense - A Cyberpunk Ghost Story, preorders will also open on Thursday for our Limited Edition of WinterWolves' dating and life sim VN Roommates for PS Vita. Only 1000 units will be available and include the game, manual, soundtrack CD and numbered certificate in a collector's box for US$34.99. We've already received sample boxes for Roommates and card production is underway, so we expect this one to ship a few weeks after preorders open.
For our PS Vita fans, please note that these will be our only two preorder campaigns in January 2021.
