Sails onto Nintendo Switch digitally May 12th, physical editions also shipping
Hong Kong – April 4, 2022 – Independent developer and publisher eastasiasoft today announced an official release date and further details for upcoming RPG Seven Pirates H, which will be making its debut on Nintendo Switch in North America, Europe and Asia May 12th, 2022. This is a brand-new port of the next stand-alone entry in the Genkai Tokki series from Idea Factory, complete with enhanced HD presentation and all prior content from the original Japan-only PS Vita release.
To commemorate this release date announcement, a new gameplay trailer has been prepared, showcasing the exploration and combat mechanics of the game in its localized English version. An official dedicated website has also just launched, detailing added content and features for Nintendo Switch as well as character profiles, screenshots, video, system information, store links and more.
Seven Pirates H is developed by Compile Heart and Felistella, published in its original release and ported for Nintendo Switch by Idea Factory in close cooperation with Eastasiasoft Limited. Digital pricing will be set at US$39.99 / €39.99 / £34.99, with an additional 15% launch discount available on the eShop for 3 weeks following release.
Nintendo Switch physical editions of Seven Pirates H are currently available for pre-order through online retailer partner Playasia. Only 4000 Limited Editions will be produced and include the game, manual, art book, soundtrack CD, sticker sheets and numbered certificate in a collector’s box for US$59.99 plus shipping. Standard copies are open pre-order at US$39.99. Fulfillment and shipping will begin at the same time as digital release on May 12th, 2022.
Review code requests are now being accepted. Press members and content creators wishing to cover the game’s western console release may begin sending requests through the Eastasiasoft Limited website using the direct submission form on the Seven Pirates H game page. Codes are expected to be sent out in early May.
