Prepare for battle! Samurai Zan is a one-on-one fighting game set in side-scrolling combat arenas. Run, jump, advance and retreat strategically as you face off against 10 randomized opponents across a wide variety of stages, from forests and temple grounds to snowfields and crystal caverns, all presented in retro pixel art style. Choose from 11 playable characters, each with their own unique strengths, weaknesses and weaponry, then defeat all the others to prove yourself as the ultimate warrior.

Will you be a ronin, an old martial arts master, a ninja, executioner, wolf or even a panda fighter? Try each character to see which fits your playstyle. Play Duel mode to choose a specific character to challenge for extra practice, then enter the main battle mode to fight them all in sequence limited to just 3 lives and 2 minutes per round. Charge your power gauge with normal attacks, then unleash devastating specials to cut your opponent down! Can you survive against the most fearsome fighters in the world?
