We are excited to announce that we have once again partnered with developer Purple Tree to release fluidly animated 2D fighter Baki Hanma: Blood Arena on consoles for Japan and Asia.
Baki Hanma: Blood Arena is a thrilling 2D action game based on anime phenomenon Baki. With gameplay reminiscent of genre classics, including developer Purple Tree’s own Thunder Ray, the game blends precision, timing and shonen-style flair to deliver a high-energy combat experience. Baki Hanma: Blood Arena cranks up the violence to match the long-standing legacy of the anime, pitting Baki against hulking opponents with their own unique strengths, weaknesses and personality quirks, requiring the player to break down their moves and decide what kind of strategy will be most effective in defeating them.
Baki Hanma: Blood Arena is originally developed by Purple Tree and will be published digitally by eastasiasoft on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in Japan and Asia. The game will feature multi-language support including English, Japanese, Korean and Traditional Chinese.
