Today we are thrilled to announce that Okko The Exiled will launch digitally for Steam and GOG on September 30th! To commemorate this announcement, a new gameplay trailer has been shared on eastasiasoft’s official YouTube channel and social media accounts.
As exhibited at Tokyo Game Show in 2025, Okko The Exiled is an action-packed adventure where you stomp, launch and bash your way through Kutala, a land of demons, on a quest to defeat the Demon Lord Yalda and fulfill an ancient oath. Okko The Exiled features side-scrolling precision platforming, tough but fair battles against screen-filling bosses and meticulously hand-drawn, fluidly animated pixel art. The game is highly focused on offering dynamic real-time combat balanced by lots of rewarding exploration. Okko meets a variety of helpful allies and is able to upgrade abilities in a hub area called The Old Throne.
Originally developed by Frozen Flame Interactive in close cooperation with eastasiasoft, Okko The Exiled will be ported for consoles and published worldwide by Eastasiasoft Limited. Digital pricing is set at US$14.99/€14.99 for standard digital editions, US$19.99/€19.99 for deluxe editions including the digital soundtrack. Additionally, a 10% launch discount will be available for 2 weeks following release. Console versions are currently in development, expected to launch in early 2027 both digitally and at physical retail. Further information on console versions will be shared at a later time.
