With Retrofiction Games' reveal of survival horror sequel Dead of Darkness 2, we are thrilled to confirm that eastasiasoft will once again handle porting and publishing for this entry! Also, eastasiasoft will work closely with the developer to deliver voiceover quality that lives up to the standard that earned critical acclaim in the original game.
Set in 1985 Pennsylvania, the sequel follows protagonist Jun Takehara, who lives a quiet life in a trailer deep in the Appalachians. Her only real connection is Felton, an old veteran who was a close friend of her recently deceased father. Having promised to look out for Jun, Felton has become something of a grandfather figure to her.
During a hunting trip, Jun stumbles upon a wounded little girl in a secluded part of the woods. Confused and frightened, the girl has no idea who she is or how she got there. With no way to call for help and no means of transportation, Jun brings her back to the trailer and tends to her wounds. But when two suspicious policemen arrive minutes later, Jun and Felton find themselves pulled into a nightmare of unspeakable horrors.
Building on its predecessor, Dead of Darkness 2 is set to deliver an intense, classic survival horror experience driven by a deep narrative and rich lore.
