We are proud to announce that eastasiasoft has partnered with indie developer Francisco Tellez De Meneses to bring his hit 2D stealth action game UnMetal to PS Vita! We are very excited to help make this port possible as one of the last big PS Vita releases. While we still have plenty of physical games lined up for 2021, this particular project gives us an opportunity to bring a new and unexpected experience to the platform, one that would not have otherwise been available to PS Vita players.
In 1972, a crack commando squad threw you in prison for a crime you didn’t commit. They couldn’t contain you for long, though. You promptly escaped their maximum-security stockade and reached the underground, where you’ll have to survive whatever these soldiers of fortune can throw at you.
From the creator of UnEpic and Ghost 1.0, UnMetal is an action-packed stealth game with a touch of humor. The goal is to escape an enemy military base, but what starts as a simple breakout quickly turns into an inside operation to uncover your captors’ plans and prevent a massive attack that could threaten peace on a global level.
Physical preorders of UnMetal will be available first for PS Vita, opening with online retail partner Playasia at 11:00 pm Hong Kong time (10am ET / 3pm UK) this Thursday, December 17th. Production will be limited to only 2500 units. Each collector’s box includes the game, manual, CD soundtrack and numbered certificate for US$34.99 + shipping. At the same time, preorders will open for physical Limited Editions of Project Starship X for PS4, of which only 1000 units will be available.
UnMetal will be one of our last PS Vita campaigns of 2020 alongside Habroxia 2 and My Aunt is a Witch, currently available from Playasia. As always, thanks to our awesome customers, dedicated fans and online community members for supporting physical PS Vita releases throughout 2020 and into the New Year!
