Physical pre-orders opening this week
Hong Kong – June 1, 2026 – Independent developer and publisher Eastasiasoft Limited announced today that they have once again partnered with Idea Factory to release the first official English localization of Hakuoki Memoirs: Drifting Clouds for Nintendo Switch. This special release will include English text support as well as voiceovers in Japanese. Physical editions will be available to pre-order from Playasia later this week.
Following up on partnership with Idea Factory for Hakuoki: Chronicles of Wind and Blossom as well as Hakuoki SSL ~Sweet School Life~, Eastasiasoft Limited will be making Hakuoki Memoirs: Drifting Clouds available to new audiences in western regions. Known in Japan as Tenun no Shou, Hakuoki Memoirs: Drifting Clouds features a collection of side stories that take place between the original chapters of Hakuoki: Chronicles of Wind and Blossom, offering players a glimpse into previously unseen events and moments of romance to explore based on their decisions.
Physical editions for Nintendo Switch will be available for pre-order with online retailer Playasia this Thursday, June 4th at 11:00pm Hong Kong time (11:00am ET / 8:00am PT / 4:00pm UK). Only 2000 Limited Editions will be produced, which will include the game, manual, drama CD, art book, Joy-Con™ stickers, mini case, acrylic standees, poster and a numbered certificate in a collector’s box for US$69.99 plus shipping, while supplies last. There will be no reprint of this Limited Edition. Standard copies will also be available at US$49.99.
