So we're all highly devoted Soldner-X/shmup fans, we know that. But what kinds of games do you all play other than SX?

For me, I love pretty much any retro game which is why I download lots of PSN titles, it just gives off that nostalgic feel. Also, I play Warhawk quite a bit too, it's one of my favorite games ever and I'm not even into shooters like that.

Let's get the ball rollin' boys.

I am a very devoted gamer myself. I have a collection of shooting games but also play mainstream releases. Some games I've been playing recently (in no particular order): Final Fantasy XIII, Alan Wake, Ketsui, God of War 3, Heavy Rain, Red Dead Redemption.

Unfortunately I don't always have the time to finish all the games I start playing.

Well, I've played pretty much every game mentioned thus far (with the exception of God of War 3, Ketsui and Red Dead Redemption). My gaming diversity is too widespread to even generalize, but I will say that my heart is in the shmup genre. Soldner-X is one of my greatest passions since its release, though (both titles, in that case!).
Like I've said before, I can go from Gears of War to R-Type Command to Soldner-X and then switch gears and play indie games like Yume Nikki. I'm more or less the gaming equivalent of a freelancer, lol.

lol, I don't have the patience to finish an RPG. I loved Resonance of Fate enough to finish and that was the first RPG in 15 years I finished... wait I did beat Phantasy Star II... twice... in a week... 6 months ago... with the 2nd on XBLA... before someone smashes saying I was lazy to finish the final boss.

Other than Söldner-X 2 I'm currently playing Monster Hunter Freedom Unite and White Knight Chronicles. I tend to play games of most genres, but I love RPGs the most.

I tried that shortly but gave up after a few hours. I played FF13 when it came out in Japan and completed it during the Winter holidays.

So yeah, I also quite enjoy the RPG genre, but unfortunately I often can't stick to them until the end. I am actually quite happy when games aren't that long so I don't need to go on for several weeks to finish them.
