I'm wanting to farm random materials. I used to run into these battles at night all the time both in and outside of dungeons, but now I can't get more than around 15 ememies at a time, if I'm lucky.

Sounds to me like your talking about when you first started the game. Was it on Cassar Island? Cause I think those encounters change slightly after you complete the the Thief Citadel. I could be wrong, but I remember hearing that from a few others. As far as the rest of the rainbow moon world goes, the encounters have remained the same for me.

By the way, which materials were you looking for?

Yeah I was looking around the beginner zones trying to find big groups of earth golems for iron ore. Could've swore I used to run into huge groups of them early on, but now i can't find more than a couple in any pack of mobs. I ended up finding the ores on some skeletons at least. And I am noticing more of the 30+ battles when I'm in areas around my level.

Hi NibKing,

sounds like you have been confused by mixing up random battles with special battles. For example there are some early unique battles with large amounts of monsters that are guarding some treasure chests. Once you have access to the chest and killed those enemies, they won't respawn anymore.

Ah that's probably what happened. I played for a long time not knowing that a red "Encounter" was a one-time battle whereas the blue "Encounter" screen means those mobs will respawn. Thanks for the reply.
