Coming to Nintendo Switch on May 30th, digital pre-orders now open
Hong Kong – April 11, 2024 – Independent developer and publisher Eastasiasoft Limited announced today that acclaimed action RPG Xuan Yuan Sword 7 will launch on the Nintendo Switch eShop May 30th. Digital pre-orders are available today at an exclusive 10% discount.
Inspired by Chinese legends and mythology, standalone epic Xuan Yuan Sword 7 is the latest and most advanced game in the series’ 33-year history. This Nintendo Switch version of the game has been made possible by Eastasiasoft Limited in partnership with Softstar Entertainment Inc. and original developer DOMO Studio. Porting has been led by Eastasiasoft Limited in close cooperation with Catness Game Studios, and the game has undergone months of optimization for the best possible experience, making this one of the most visually impressive games to release late in the life of Nintendo Switch.
Digital pricing is set at US$39.99 / €39.99 / £34.99 / 4800 JPY / 288 HKD before applicable pre-order discounts on the eShop. Physical editions will begin to ship in the same week as digital release. For physical copies, Eastasiasoft Limited has committed to having the full experience on the game card, which will require a 16GB card due to the RPG’s immense size, high-end graphics and cinematic presentation. Limited Editions will include the game, manual, soundtrack CD, art book and numbered certificate in a collector’s box. Standard and Limited Edition pre-orders are available through online retail partner Playasia.
Xuan Yuan Sword 7 features subtitle support for English, Japanese, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Turkish, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.
